Fras-le named as official braking supplier to the Copa Truck Racing in Brazil

Tested on the track for the ultimate in braking performance, friction brand, Fras-le, has announced it is the official brake pad supplier to the COPA Truck Racing championships in Brazil.

 

The COPA Truck is a racing championship held on some of the most famous circuits in Brazil. Fras-le’s presence in the 2024 championships will find the brand’s leading brake pads onboard all trucks racing in the event series. The Fras-le logo will also be visible on all trucks as they race around the track.


Established in 1954 in Caxias do Sul, Brazil, Fras-le has grown to become a prominent player in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry. With a reputation for innovation and quality, Fras-le launched in the UK this year to bring a wealth of expertise to meet the demanding needs of the UK's commercial vehicle sector.


Fras-le launched following the acquisition of braking brand Juratek in March 2023 as part of a strategic move to offer its comprehensive range of commercial vehicle (CV) braking products, particularly its CV brake pads and CV brake discs to the sector.


The company has established itself as a trailblazer in the development of friction materials, consistently setting industry benchmarks for performance, durability, and safety.


Innovation is at the core of Fras-le's CV braking systems. They are designed to deliver optimal performance in diverse operating conditions, ensuring reliability and safety for commercial vehicles across the UK.


The brand’s CV friction compounds are produced using high-quality materials and undergo rigorous testing to withstand the challenges of heavy-duty applications. Whether it's long-haul transportation, construction, or distribution, Fras-le's CV braking solutions are tailored to provide consistent and reliable stopping power, contributing to enhanced vehicle safety and reduced maintenance costs.

 

The COPA Truck season began on 15 March at the Autodromo Internacional Orlando Moura. his is followed by race weekends 12 – 14 April at the Autodromo Internacional Ayrton Senna (Goiania), 10 – 12 May at Autodromo Internacional Ayrton Senna (Londrina) and 14 – 16 June at Autodromo Internacional de Santa Cruz do Sul.


After a brief break, the season kicks back off on 2 – 4 August at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace, followed by 30 Aug – 1 September at the Autodromo Zilmar Beux de Cascavel, and then from 11 – 13 October at the Autodromo Internacional de Taruma.


The championships then head to the Circuito dos Cristais for the the penultimate weekend on 15 – 17 November, before returning to the Autodromo Internacional Ayrton Senna (Goiania) circuit for the final meet of the year on 6 – 8 December 2024.
